Registration and submission of works:
  • All participating videos are submitted online, and the maximum length of videos is 3 minutes.

  • Only MP4, WMV, AVI or MOV files are accepted for submission of works.

  • The name of the video file must be set to "(Group code)_(Language/Cat.code)_(name of contestant).mp4"

  • (Example: P6_Mandarin_Chan_Tai_Man.mp4 / F3_E_Chan_Siu_Ming.mp4)

  • Finals can be played in the preliminary video or re-shooting

  • The following three files must be uploaded and submitted at the same time when registering for the final:

  1. Participating video file (.mp4 / .wmv / .avi / .mov)

  2. Speech materials (.doc / .doc / .pdf)

  3. Proof of payment (.jpg / .pdf)

Registration and submission method:

Preliminary

  1. Complete the video

  2. Participants set the video file name correctly and upload it to the online storage space before the registration starts. (Google Drive / Dropbox / Microsoft OneDrive) and open permissions.

  3. Complete the online form (fill in the shared link of the uploaded file at the same time)

  4. After submitting the form, check and receive the confirmation email, and mark down the application number

  5. If you cannot receive the registration confirmation email, please check the "spam box". If there is still no confirmation email, the email address may have been entered incorrectly during registration. Please perform the registration process again. If you still have problems, please contact us.


finals

  1. Preparing for the final film

  2. Pay the registration fee and prepare proof of payment (deposit paper or other proof drawing files)

  3. Prepare recitation files

  4. Upload the above three files to the online storage space before the start of registration and store them in the same folder. (Google drive / Dropbox / Microsoft OneDrive) open permissions.

Awards:

Preliminary

  • Each group has a certificate of "Distinction", "Merit" and "Participation", and there is no limit to the number of places

  • Winners of each group apply for certificates and medals according to their individual needs
    Award application fee:
      Certificate-HK$50 (Included once local traceable mail or courier fee)

           Electronic Certificate - HK$50 (PDF file will be sent by email for non-Hong Kong contestants to choose)
          Medal - HK$50 (Included once local traceable mail or courier fee)

  • No reviews for the preliminary round

  • Participants with "Distinction" or "Merit" results in the preliminary round will be eligible for the final.

 

Finals

  • The final registration fee is HK$250 (including awards of finals and once local traceable mail or courier fee)

  • Each group has one champion, one 1st runner-up, and one 2nd runner-up, and there is no limit to the number of gold, silver, bronze, merit, and participation awards.

  • The champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up of each group will receive a trophy and a certificate.

  • Winners of the gold, silver and bronze awards in each category will receive a trophy and a certificate.

  • Winners of the Merit and Participation Awards in each category will receive a certificate.

***If the prize is sent to a non-local mailing address, the participant will be required to pay the relevant additional mailing fee.

Special notice:

           In response to the requirements of overseas participants, in order to reduce the cost of overseas mailing, starting from March 31, 2021, the default mailing method in all Asia regions will be changed to "Surface Registered Mail". However, the mailing time will be extended. All overseas participants please Pay attention.

***All awards (including local and overseas) if there are any unsuccessful delivery, failure to receive, loss of parcels, etc. Will not be sent again under any circumstances (including but not limited to incorrect mailing information, failure to receive, failure to sign, missed the deadline of receive). If the mail is returned to the competition, the applicant would like to arrange for reposting, all relevant postage shall be borne by the applicant.

 

Score:

The judging will be based on the performance of the contestants in the following aspects and the overall art performance of recitation:

  • Difficulty of selection

  • Techniques-tone colour, pitch, rhythm

  • Interpretation-style mastery, imagination

  • Musical sense

  • Infectiousness and resonance

  • The award application link will be sent out at the same time as the results announcement email. After the winners have paid the payment, they can click the link to complete the online application and upload the payment proof at the same time.

  • Deposit Receipt (Payment Paper) Please take a clear photo and save it as a PDF, JPG or PNG file for submission, and keep the original physical receipt until the end of the event.

Rules:
  1. This competition will be conducted in accordance with the "Comprehensive Competition Rules" of the above ‧ culture and the rules of this competition. Once the participants register, they have understood and agreed to abide by all the rules.

  2. All submitted links, files and documents, if they cannot be identified, searched, opened, downloaded or played, will not be processed.

  3. Only one game clip can be uploaded for each competition, and the clip can be shot with a normal smartphone or camcorder. Please note that you need to shoot in a quiet environment.

  4. At the beginning of each segment, the contestant must first clearly state the contestant's full name (can be read in English, Mandarin or Cantonese).

  5. The camera must be taken from the front, and the face and upper body of the contestant must be clearly shown in the footage.

  6. The video of the competition cannot be edited and no post-production in any form is allowed, otherwise the qualification for the competition will be disqualified.

  7. All video clips of the competition can only be submitted once. Once uploaded or submitted, they cannot be re-uploaded or submitted.

  8. After the results of the contest are announced, some of the contestants' contestants may upload on the contest website, Facebook page or other online platforms to share the winning footage.

  9. Once the contest footage is submitted, it means that the contestant agrees that the contest will use the contest footage for promotional activities related to the club, including but not limited to websites, social platforms, publications, and public broadcasts, etc., without requiring the contestants' consent and payment. Fees, and reserve the final decision on the use of fragments.
